Invocation of the Elements (The four sons of Horus)

Begin by facing East, shake your sistrum, and then say the following
invocation for Qebhsennuf of the East:

“Hail to you Lord Qebhsennuf (Kebs-noof) eternal one of the East,
protect and guide me as you witness this rite.”

Turn clockwise facing South, shake your sistrum, and then say the
following invocation for Duamutef of the South:

“Hail to you Lord Duamutef (Doo-a-moo-tef) eternal one of the South,
protect and guide me as you witness this rite.”

Turn clockwise facing West, shake your sistrum, and then say the
following invocation of Imsety of the West:

“Hail to you Lord Imsety (Im-set-ee) eternal one of the West,
protect and guide me as you witness this rite.”

Turn clockwise facing North, shake your sistrum, and then say the
following invocation of Hapi of the Norht:

“Hail to you Lord Hapi (Hah-pee) eternal one of the North, protect
and guide me as you witness this rite.”

Invocation of the God and Goddess (Osiris and Isis)

Now turn so that you are standing facing your altar or shrine, shake
your sistrum and say the following invocation for Osiris:

“Osiris of the Earth,
You who are perfect before the gods,
All that is,
All that shall ever be,
Come, triumphant one of the dead
Come as the scent of the sacred cedar
Charging my circle
With love and magic
Do descend upon my circle
O’ blessed Osiris”

Still standing and facing your altar, shake your sistrum and say the
following invocation for Isis:

“Isis of the Moon
You who are all that ever was,
All that is,
All that shall ever be,
Come, veiled queen of the night
Come as the scent of the sacred lotus
Charging my circle
With love and magic
Do descend upon my circle
O’ blessed Isis”
